What is the difference between a "performance gym" and a "fitness gym"? Ever go to a gym and see trainers working specifically on Football skills? Basketball skills? Field Hockey? The philosophy behind this performance center is to take athletes to the "next level", whether that next level is high school, college or pro. (Just look at the list of pros they have trained)
Though recently established in 2017, it has shown nice growth of approx. 20% each year. (see financials) It achieved this growth by performance training focused on specialized skills and by working with local schools' coaches in elementary, high school and college.
Located in an industrial park warehouse, there is a lot of room both inside and outside. The center houses free weights, conditioning/weight machines, large turf covered areas, locker rooms, office space, nutrition education area and more. The skills academies include football, basketball, yoga, adult female "Bootcamp" and general fitness classes. Football-focused training includes quarterback, lineman, running back and defensive back skills. They have just established a sand pit in the parking lot for sand training and beach volleyball skills. Crossfit-style workouts are done both inside and outside. In an industry that is being taken over by cheap, on-your-own fitness studios, this performance gym has found a niche that lends itself to continuing its substantially fast growth.
Since its recent start, the training center has gained in popularity and has a dedicated following as well as an impressive group of "grads". It's business model sets it apart from other gyms, featuring highly competitive and intense programs catering to the dedicated athlete.
This gym is up and coming! After it's recent opening, it already has achieved a 20.5% growth and it is expected to grow another 20% the current year.
Additional growth could take the form of adding "classes", increasing marketing presence and adding dedicated marketing staff. The gym could also buy out smaller gyms in the area.
There are other gyms in the area but few compete with the same level of specialization and intensity as this center.
